“Emily…” He wasn’t sure how he was going to get it through to her the fact that he wasn’t some unaware human that knew for naught anything in the world. “The fact that you’re a vampire is impossible too. The fact that I’m a witch is impossible. The fact that last year a baby boy ended up in me and my werewolf ex’s home is impossible too… but it all happened, so the word impossible doesn’t hold much water in this world, Em. Congratulations.”
Closing the lid on the rubbish, Toulouse rubbed his hands on one of the wipes he had as he saw her finally come out and was a bit taken back with her appearance. “This is what you didn’t want me to see?” He was confused as to why she thought that would freak him out. “Pourqoui?”
“…you’d have to do a lot to freak me out.” He said, feeling slightly insulted, though respectful of her caution. “I keep company with the Countess Bathory, Emily… do you honestly think you could freak me out?”
“I would really prefer it if you weren’t hiding as you spoke to me.” Toulouse had said before he decided to answer anything she had asked of him.
Oh you’d be a better teacher then I.. undoubtedly -He scrunched his face up at him then before turning his attention back to Tristan, smiling as he watched him pat his hands along the table and play with a small box of crayons. He simply gave Tou a look at that comment and shook his head amusedly before prying the box away from Tristan, who frowned and pouted when Jasper took the boxes away only smiling when another gift was set in front of him- Now this one, this one is a bit more special then the rest mhm~
Oh, oh oui. I’d most likely have to keep telling you to turn your road rage down a couple of notches, hm? -he teased looking at him over the camera as he watched Jasper show him the next gift and even Toulouse became slackjawed- Dieu.. -seeing the glowing moon nightlight, Toulouse probably squealed louder than Jasper did and it wasn’t even for him- Ah, Jasper! He’ll never want to leave his crib with that!
Un peu, oui. -Toulouse emphasized on the little bit as he set the camera on video and began to record the two of them. Laughing as he stood opposite them on the other side of the table while Tristan opened his gifts.- Oh la la, Tristan- très beau, hm? -Tou exclaimed as he saw the car set and looked at Jasper. Having the idea that that had to cost a pretty penny with the style of it-
-He chuckled as he watched Tristan poke at the cars before he took one out and began rolling it around on the table to show him how they worked- Ah comme ça Tristan, here you try.. -He set it in front of him then and watched as Tristan reached out to take hold of it, screeching once more when he drove it into the box on the table- Oh mon dieu, hopefully you’re a much better driver when you’re older… -He set the cars to the side then and pulled another package of gifts over for him to open; inside being a multitude of boxes of crayons and coloring books, all from the collection he had back home in New Orleans- I knew these would come in handy some day…
-he couldn’t help but to snort at Jasper’s words- Speaking of driving, I ought to teach you so you can teach him when he’s old enough. Mhmm. -he smiled as he looked at them from the view of the camera. Tristan so enthralled by the gifts, Toulouse couldn’t have been happier than in this moment compared to all of the things he’d experienced in his life. When he unwrapped those crayons and coloring books, even Toulouse as in awe- Oh, mon Dieu—Jasper baby… more than enough crayons to last him a lifetime, but that’s so wonderful of you, love.. I almost don’t want him coloring with them, but encasing them in something. -he teased as he grinned at him-
